Respect

There are many individuals that I admire and respect, but the one that takes the cake would have to be my mother. Since I can remember she has always been there for me. In any situation, when there was no one around for me, she was the one that I could come to. There have been many encounters when I needed some good advice and there she was. She possesses more than just one title she's caring, loving, witty, sharp, charming, eloquent, beautiful, an activist, a friend, and more importantly a mother. She always is truthful and tells it like it is. My mom will go the extra mile for her children, no matter what. I can remember a time when I needed jazz shoes for a dance performance of mine in high school, and she didn't have the money at the time and she returned some clothes that she had just bought to buy me my shoes. My mom has always had this mentality that "I want the best for my kids, even if it means that I go without." Everyday when I wake up I feel so blessed that I have a mother like I do, because not everyone does.
